My ePortfolio: LETTER dear sis, I am writing this to you for next semester, as you will be taking college writing I when you enter as a freshman. College writing does not sound fun and might seem a little scary going into it, but do not worry because you just have to make the time and split it up into tiny assignments. This class is a good way of open up your mind and see things for what they really are. During writing, you will learn to trust yourself with your writing. In high school you would just turn in whatever you had done, not even giving it a second look, but here you will hand in a paper that you put the dedication and effort in. Peer editing is a big thing in this class, so you can get a better understanding on what your peers and your audience you are writing to like and think of your paper, as well as being able to feel proud on what you hand in. Final are next week, so stressful! My first year in college it almost over, I feel like I have progressed so much over this school year. When I first stated college I had no idea what to expect. In high there was not a lot of homework and everyone around was pretty much the same, they shared the same religion, the same views, the same culture. Here at Lewis, that all changed, I love being surrounded by diversity, since where I am from there was none of that. I created new friendships that will last and learned new things about me as a independent person. I will not lie college is an adjustment that you need to find a balance quickly, coming to study and swim was a big stresser, I always felt out of time. But the challenges I faced and the achievements I made have been worth my time here.
