Why I chose My Major

When coming into Lewis University, I chose the major of Business Administration for myself for various reasons. I first had considered business as my major because of the fact that it is so diverse. What I mean by that is having a business degree can help land you most job,which in my case sounded really good since I did not know actually what I wanted to do, but knew I wanted to be involved with what went on in society. I thought business was kind of perfect because in multiple ways I can help people within the economy. Another reason along with helping people is being educated on how the world works, I love knowing learning the simple things in life, like doing taxes, it is always useful knowledge to have into adulthood. I am only a freshman in college and someday I think if I have chosen the right major for me, but other days I am glad I chose business because of the possibilities it brings. But who knows what the future holds, maybe I will change and find a better degree that I am also interested in that does a greater job of getting where I want to be.
